Light
Sansevieria is very hardy. It grows fastest in bright, filtered light but tolerates low light and even fluorescent lighting — perfect for an office.
Water
Water only when the soil is dry, then water deeply until it drips from the drainage holes. Be careful not to overwater and never let it sit in water.
Soil & Feeding
Grows best in a sandy, well-draining mix. It’s slow-growing and needs no pruning; fertilizing is optional (a couple of feeds in spring and summer speeds growth).

Zeylanica is the classic all-green snake plant, a Sansevieria (recently reclassified as Dracaena) native to tropical West Africa. Its tall, upright, sword-like leaves are patterned with soft, wavy cross-bands of light and dark green — a subtler, more natural look than the bright yellow-edged Laurentii.
It has the same upright, sculptural shape that makes snake plants such popular floor and accent plants, and it’s equally at home in a modern living room or a low-light office corner.
Care couldn’t be simpler. It handles bright light or shade, tolerates dry air, and stores water in its thick leaves, so it can go weeks between drinks. The only real mistake is overwatering — let the soil dry out completely, use a sandy, well-draining mix, and never let it sit in water. It’s also a proven air purifier.
Tough, handsome, and virtually indestructible — just keep it away from pets and children, as snake plants are toxic if chewed.
