EASY CARE
Sansevieria is a very hardy and popular plant. It grows fastest in bright conditions and should be placed in moderately bright or filtered light. It will do well under fluorescent lighting so is perfect for an office setting.
Water when soil is dry and then water deeply until water drips from drainage holes. Be careful not to over water sanseveria.
Since this plant is slow growing it does not require pruning.
Fertilization is not necessary but the plants will grow faster if you fertilize a couple of times in spring and summer following general-purpose fertilizer directions.
Its sword-like green leaves edged in golden yellow make it a classic statement plant.
Use cactus or succulent soil, and fertilize every 2 months during the growing season.
