Care

Light

Cilantro likes full sun but appreciates afternoon shade in hot weather. A bright window suits it indoors.

Water

Water when the top inch feels dry, keeping it evenly moist. Cilantro prefers cooler temperatures and may bolt in heat.

Soil & Feeding

Use a well-draining mix and feed lightly every 2–4 weeks.

Quick Tip

Harvest leaves often by cutting near the base. Once it flowers the leaves turn bitter — but the seeds become coriander spice.
