Lemon Ball Cactus
Parodia leninghausii · Native to Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul)
A beloved golden-spined South American globe cactus that grows into a tall, columnar specimen over time — one of the most reliably free-flowering cacti, producing vivid yellow flowers each season.
Available in 4½ inch
Care
Light
Bright, direct to indirect light. One of the most shade-tolerant cacti — still does best with some direct sun.
Water
Allow to dry between waterings. Reduce in winter.
Soil & Feeding
Well-draining cactus mix. Monthly feeding in the growing season encourages blooming.
Quick Tip
The yellow flowers appear at the crown of the plant — give it a cool winter rest to encourage the best flowering.
