Graptoveria Debbi is a × Graptoveria — an intergeneric hybrid crossing a Graptopetalum with an Echeveria. Both parent groups are New World rosette succulents (largely from Mexico), and the cross blends the toughness of graptopetalums with the refined rosette form of echeverias.
‘Debbie’ is one of the most popular graptoverias, prized for its large, open rosettes of thick, pointed leaves in a soft, dusty lavender-pink. A powdery coating gives the color a frosted, almost pastel quality — and unlike many colorful succulents, that pink holds up reliably across a wide range of light.
It offsets into clusters over time and sends up arching stalks of orange-pink flowers. Its dependable color and easygoing nature make it a staple of mixed arrangements.
