Light

Haworthiopsis attenuata ‘Concolor’ · a Zebra Plant variation
The Concolor Zebra Plant is a cultivar of Haworthiopsis attenuata (long known as Haworthia attenuata), a small rosette succulent native to the Eastern Cape of South Africa. These plants are beloved as easy, compact houseplants.
Like the classic Zebra Plant, it forms a rosette of upright, pointed dark-green leaves studded with raised white bumps (tubercles). The difference with ‘Concolor’ is in those markings: the white tubercles are scattered evenly across both sides of the leaves, giving a more uniform, all-over speckled texture rather than the standard tiger-stripe banding.
It stays small, slowly clustering with offsets, and tolerates lower indoor light better than most succulents — which is a big part of its appeal as a desk or windowsill plant.
Care is easy: bright indirect light, gritty soil, and water only when fully dry.
How is it different from the standard Zebra Plant?
