Its big, quilted, arrow-shaped leaves are deep green on top and a remarkable metallic bronze-purple underneath, giving the plant a bold, jungly presence wherever it’s displayed.
It’s one of the more forgiving alocasias — give it bright, indirect light, even moisture, and a little warmth and humidity, and it rewards you with dramatic foliage.
