TENDER LOVING CARE

The Western Fern is a newly developed variety of the traditional Fern. The Western Fern has been bred to thrive in the Southwest’s dry atmosphere. Because of this, it does not require humidity. Keep the soil moist with regular watering but do not overwater or keep the roots wet.

These plants should be kept in medium to bright light. Do not keep in direct sunlight. Direct sun could cause sunburn and the leaves will have a bleached look. It prefers room temperature and kept away from cold drafts.

Fertilize lightly once a month from April through September unless actively growing in winter months.

Origin: These ferns are native to tropical areas in Florida and also have been in areas in the Pacific Rim.

Available in 8 inch hanging baskets.

Ferns are not intended for human or animal consumption.
