MODERATE CARE

Podocarpus is a relatively easy plant to care for. It requires very bright indirect light. If it doesn’t get enough light, the lower needles on the lower branches will become elongated.

This plant is good to use as a Bonsai or topiary because it is easy to train.

Water podocarpus when the top of the soil is dry. Keep it moist but not soggy. If you water it too much, the leaves will turn brown or gray.

Fertilize every two weeks in the spring and summer. Use a fertilizer designed for acid loving plants at half strength.
