Chrysanthemums do best in a sunny spot. Do not put pots close together because chrysanthemums need air flow to grow.

Plant in a well-drained and loamy soil in a pot that has good drainage. Keep the soil moist and make sure it is not kept wet.

Faded flowers should be removed to encourage more blooms.
