Masson Farms of New Mexico operates one of the largest geothermal-heated greenhouse facilities in the U.S. — roughly 24 acres of climate-controlled growing space in Radium Springs, producing 30+ categories of potted plants.

Position Summary

The Electrician supports the maintenance and repair of electrical systems across the greenhouse facility, working under the supervision of a licensed electrician. This role offers hands-on work with industrial and agricultural electrical systems in a large production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, controls, lighting, and equipment under supervision.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, pumps, controls, and greenhouse systems.
• Maintain records of electrical work, inspections, and repairs.
• Conduct routine inspection of panels, circuits, and connections for safety and reliability.
• Follow all electrical safety standards, including lockout/tagout and applicable codes.
• Support the maintenance team on facility upgrade and expansion projects.

Qualifications

• Electrical trades training, apprenticeship hours, or equivalent hands-on electrical experience.
• Solid understanding of electrical theory and safety.
• Ability to work safely with hand and power tools.
• Willingness to work under the direction of a licensed electrician.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• New Mexico journeyman or apprentice electrician license.
• Familiarity with motor controls, VFDs, or industrial systems.
