Light
Does well in full sun to partial shade — bright, indirect light is ideal indoors.
Water
It likes a moderately humid room. Water deeply until it runs from the drainage holes, then allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Avoid keeping it constantly wet.
Soil & Feeding
For best results plant in peat moss with some gritty sand for drainage. Fertilize every two weeks (except in winter) with liquid plant food diluted to half strength.

The Money Tree is a tropical wetland tree native to Central and South America, from Mexico down through the northern part of the continent, where it grows along riverbanks and swamps. Indoors it’s instantly recognizable: several slim trunks braided together, topped with glossy, hand-shaped clusters of five to seven leaflets.
It picked up its lucky reputation through feng shui, where it’s said to bring good fortune — which, along with its easygoing nature, has made it a hugely popular home and office plant and a favorite housewarming gift.
Care is simple: bright, indirect light (it tolerates some direct sun and part shade), and deep but infrequent watering — soak it, then let it dry out before the next drink. It appreciates a little humidity and a gritty, well-draining mix.
Handsome, forgiving, and — unlike many houseplants — non-toxic and pet-safe, it’s a wonderful, worry-free choice.
