Light
Thrives in medium or bright light. Do not place in direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Water
Allow it to dry between waterings — it can withstand a missed watering now and then. Water when the soil feels dry halfway down, and don’t overwater.
Soil & Feeding
Happy in smaller containers thanks to its compact root system. Fertilizer isn’t required, but a general fertilizer during the growing season speeds growth.

Plant Bio
Peperomia obtusifolia ‘Camouflage’ · a Radiator Plant
Peperomia Camouflage is a patterned selection of Peperomia obtusifolia, the baby rubber plant, native to the warm forests of northern South America. Like its cousins in the peperomia family (nicknamed “Radiator Plants”), it’s a small, semi-succulent evergreen grown for foliage.
Its name comes from the leaves: thick and glossy, washed in a mottled blend of light and dark green that reads like a soft camouflage print. It forms a tidy, bushy mound and stays compact, with a small root system that’s happy in a modest pot.
It’s wonderfully low-effort: medium to bright indirect light (never direct sun), watering only once the soil dries partway down, and a well-draining mix. Its fleshy leaves hold water, so it forgives the odd skipped watering — overwatering is the real risk.
Patterned, compact, and non-toxic, it’s a safe, stylish pick for pet homes.
