Alocasia Mickey Mouse does well in bright, indirect light but can tolerate shady conditions. Avoid direct sunlight.
This plant needs course, a well-draining rich organic mix. Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist but not wet or soggy. It requires less water in the winter when it is dormant.
High humidity is required for the best results. You can set the pot in a tray filled with pebbles and water but ensure that the pot is not sitting in the water. You can also use a humidifier.
Fertilize every two weeks with a balanced, diluted fertilizer starting in the spring through August. Do not over fertilize.
Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry, keeping the soil evenly moist but never soggy.
